BigDogCharters is an Alaska License vendor and you can purchase your Alaska fishing licenses onboard the Pathfinder. The cost for a non-resident one-day fishing license is $20.00 and King Salmon tags (required when fishing for King salmon) is an additional $10. Children under 16 do not require a fishing license. has experience cooking salmon, so here are some tips from his kitchen to yours. Thawing frozen salmon takes some time, the best way is to thaw it overnight in the refrigerator.
Don't speed it up by defrosting it in the microwave or running it under hot water.
